A Day of Fun, Community, and Giving Back

On Saturday, June 14, The Brick Companies' Foundation hosted the 2025 Summer Slam Pickleball Tournament at Truxtun Park, bringing together players, sponsors, and supporters for a memorable day on the courts. Despite the hot, humid weather, 115 players arrived ready to compete, laugh, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

The event featured exciting pickleball matches, delicious food and drinks, lively vendors, and ample opportunities for community connection. Guests participated in raffles and prizes, making the day even more special for everyone involved.

Most importantly, thanks to the incredible generosity of our players, sponsors, and volunteers, we raised $5,000 for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. These funds will help bring the camp’s newest facility to Maryland’s eastern shore, supporting children with serious illnesses and their families.
