Our way of caring for the environment and the communities where we live

TBC FOUNDATION

As a dedicated non-profit, TBC's Foundation champions our Good Works giving through fundraising, and offering long-term grants to fortify our community's commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship. Since its inception, The Foundation has given back more than $1,000,000 to local organizations.
2023 FUNDRAISING EVENTS

The Foundation set on a quest in 2023 to raise $80,000 via our major event fundraisers, all in a bid to back charitable organizations that share our vision within the community. 

June 6, 2023 - 21st Annual TBC Classic - $50,000

July 8, 2023 - TBC's Inaugural Summer Slam Pickleball Tournament - $12,000

October 29, 2023 - Zombie Dash  - $5,000

Social Responsibility

Employee resource groups work throughout TBC to raise awareness, provide volunteer opportunities and offer financial support for the issues that impact us all.

2023 highlights

​The Employee Resource Groups of TBC are organized and led by employees who are interested in a particular subject. They work together to share ideas, build awareness, provide education, and offer volunteer opportunities to the rest of the company. 

Go Green! - Oyster Recovery Partnership  - $1,000

Wellness -   Leveling the Playing Field - $3,500

Through the company-wide TBC Monthly Steps Challenge utilizing GivHero, over $6,000 was raised by employees for the following charities:

  • Nourish Now $2,200

  • YMCA Camp Letts $2,000

  • Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center $1,800

The Go Green! Team's strives to inspire and enlighten others about environmentally-friendly habits for a healthier, sustainable world. They focus on resource conservation, habitat preservation, and pollution prevention, striving to enhance eco-consciousness and drive sustainable practices across the company's facilities.

The Wellness Team's mission is to bolster total wellness among TBC employees through programs and resources. Their aim is to foster physical, mental, and financial health among all employees by driving awareness and involvement in diverse wellness initiatives.

2023 community efforts
  • TBC Center - Hosted two blood mobile events through Luminis Health in 2023

  • Atlantic Marinas at Ferry Point - partnered with Providence Center in April 2023 to plant and grow native plants. 

  • Atlantic Marinas - led donation drive for Saving Grace Animal Rescue

  • TBC Center - gathers gifts for the Angel Tree initiative of YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County

  • Queenstown Harbor - supported the Queen Anne's County Library friends fund
